Since globalisation and internationalisation in development of economy and trade, competition among ports has become more and more furious, especially in Asia-Pacific. Many sea freight routes have been added and extended to Asia-Pacific. Main ports in Asia-Pacific are in the highly competitive environment to develop for the role of a 'regional hub port'. Also, the conception of a port is more complex than ever before. A seaport is a logistic and industrial centre in the modem society and directly related to economic development of a country or area. To increase port competitiveness has already become one of the main tasks of governments and port authorities
