International audienceFluorite precipitation and geochemical control of calcium in alkali soils of Niger. Consequences for a quantitative estimation of the geochemical evolution of soil solution Fluorite precipitation was identified in no saline alkali soil of Niger. The phenomenon strenghs the geochemical control of calcium, initiated by calcite formation. The precipitation of these two minerals leads to use the generalised residual alkalinity concept to assess quantitatively the soil evolution under irrigation. The chemical evolution of an alkali soil under the influence of a silage irrigated cultivation is presented.La précipitation de la fluorine a été identifiée dans des sols alcalins non salés du Niger.
