The thesis aims to predict the skid resistance of road surfaces contaminated by fine particles. These particles are deposited on the road during dry periods and act, alone or mixing with rainwater, as a lubricant at the tire / road interface. The research methodology is based on the third body approach by distinguishing the phases of deposit and washing of particles by rain. Particles are characterized by their size distribution and their chemical and mineralogical compositions.
