Archaeological excavations led between 2007 and 2011 in the Cathedral of San Lorenzo (Alba, CN ) have unearthed about 350 burials. Many graves are formed by primary deposition and are a part of a vast burial ground dating back to a period between the VIII and XVIII centuries. The types of burial include burial in earth graves, cash room brick and wood. Based on stratigraphic evidences and archaeological data it was possible to make a good chronological contextualization of anthropological material according to the different phases of use of the cemetery.
