National audienceIn this note, a micromechanical model is proposed for the estimate of the effective behavior of a an isotropic medium with embedded cohesive zones. The model is based on the introduction of a "matrix-cohesive inclusions" composite as a representation of the studied cohesive medium. The effective behavior is then derived using linear and non-linear homogenization schemes (Hashin Shtrikman estimate and secant modified method).
