Nasopharyngeal stenosis is a rare cause of upper respiratory tract obstruction in cats that generally is thought to be a sequela of upper airway infections. inflammation, trauma, or ulceration. In this condition, a thin membrane partially or fully obstructs the nasopharynx, resulting in inspiratory stridor, gagging and dyspnea. The definitive diagnosis is achieved with endoscopy. However, computed tomography (CT) is a useful diagnostic tool which can describe the extension and the nature of the lesion. We report a case of nasopharyngeal stenosis in a cat, in order to describe the usefulness of CT in the diagnosis of this disease along with endoscopy
