Increasingly, women of every race and ethnicity are moving into professional roles as business owners, doctors and leaders in the community. Women\u27s philanthropy is important and the need to understand women as leaders in philanthropy in the decades ahead will intensify. To understand the nature of women\u27s philanthropy, it is essential to answer the following questions. What motivates women to give of their time and money to non-profit organizations? Why is philanthropy important to women? What makes Girl Scout philanthropy unique?
