The purpose of this study is to evaluate the SECOND TIME AROUND PARENTS (STAP) group at Little People Day Care Center, Pillsbury Neighborhood Services (PNS). Problems that are breaking families apart are leaving children at risk, neglected and uncared for; grandparents are stepping in to care for them. Grandparents across the country regardless of income, background, or race are assuming this responsibility. They did not expect to be parents again. Grandparents who take on this job often need help with meeting the needs of their grandchildren and legal, financial, medical, educational and emotional issues that come with this new role.
