This workshop will focus on hypnosis for treating acute and chronic pain in Palliative care. It will focus more on chronic pain treatment with a discussion on integrating Motivational Interviewing into treatment. Attendees will be given clear paradigms to use for hypnotic interventions for patients who are 1) in acute pain and crisis, 2) anticipating a painful medical procedure, or 3) suffering from chronic pain
