The focus of this thesis is to analyze the popular culture in Poland during the 1970s and 1980s. The 1970s and 1980s were a crucial time for Poland which contained many political and cultural changes. For the citizens of Poland, the 1970s represented a time of economic prosperity and a time of adherence to the government. This contrasts the political unrest that occurred during the 1980s.
