By the end of the twentieth century the Mexican border cities experienced an accelerated industrial growth, simultaneously there has been a growing poetic denouncement against feminicide, particularly by female poets. One of the objectives of the artistic, intellectual and artistic collective protest has been to create a sensible debate on social-political border issues, and give a voice, representation and identity, to the juarenses women. The poetic denouncement offers creative representation elements to the current US/Mexico border culture as it coincides with a brutally violent period where hundreds of women have been systematically raped and murdered in Ciudad Juárez.
