This study reports on the degree to which NICU facilities adhere to research findings and expert recommendations on optimal lighting, sound levels, and crib environment. Furthermore, the study addresses whether compliance is significantly different among facilities that do or do not employ occupational therapists (OTs) involvement in the neonatal intensive care unit (NICU).
