This presentation is aimed at those that have very little knowledge of Creative Commons (CC) and how it fits with the landscape of open educational resources (OER). Topics covered will include an introduction to CC and why it is needed in education, how educators can use CC to their advantage, what the different licenses mean and how to use and recognize CC licenses in OER content that already exists and the content that we create. Attendants will receive an updated version of the Some Rights Reserved CC brochure to help them with their course preparations
