Anxiety is one of the most prevalent mental health conditions that appears to be on the rise amongst individuals of all ages. For children and adolescents, however, the prevalence is much greater. With extreme pressures at school, home and in their social life, the need for school-based interventions for this population are of utmost importance in order to foster and support positive development. The need to teach students healthy coping techniques during adolescents is imperative in allowing them to recognize signs of anxiety and learning how to manage it in a healthy way.
