Lost Girl is a fictional novel told from the point of view of a young woman, Becca, living in the wake of the death of her niece, Emma. Making things worse, Emma has died under her watch. Becca feels responsible for the death, in part due to the blame placed on her by Angie, her sister and Emma\u27s mother. The Capstone presents chapters from the novel depicting some of the events that happened both prior to and after the accident, and is meant to acquaint readers with both Becca and Angie. The manuscript is a work in progress, and there will be much additional writing and rewriting after the Capstone\u27s completion
