Violence continues to trend upward in frequency and severity and plague both workplace and college campus environments. While catastrophic occurrences escalate across the Nation, attention is on the development and implementation of threat review teams as a means to identify and disrupt possible perpetrators before violence occurs. Organizations and institutions are forming threat review teams collaborating security, human resources, student services, and legal professionals and tasking them with reviewing, assessing and intervening in situations of perceived threat.
