This qualitative case study explored principals’, teachers’, and counselors’ perceptions regarding curricular, instructional, and cocurricular factors influencing students’ disengagement and dropping out. Battin-Pearson’s academic mediation theory and student-centered learning framed the study. Results indicated a multitiered system of support to identify and monitor at-risk students. Findings can lead to strategies to help address the social problem of dropouts.https://scholarworks.waldenu.edu/symposium2019/1019/thumbnail.jp
