Research shows that many high school students have misconceptions about the physical concept of motion, especially the relationship between time, position, velocity, and acceleration. As part of a larger professional development project with Milwaukee in-service science teachers, UWM researches design and provide active learning modules based on latest educational research for classroom implementation.
