The purpose of this project was to explore how young adults are experiencing relationships when using social media. Using a qualitative design young adults between the ages of 18-24 were asked questions about their experience with social media. The participants reflected on their experiences and reported back. The researcher analyzed the data by looking for themes within the participant\u27s answers. The findings indicated that young adults between the ages of 18-24 prefer to use texting or social media as their main means of communication. The participants also eluded to the feeling of isolation that can happen when depending on these forms of communication.
