When a person thinks of juggling the most prominent image may be that of a goofy looking clown juggling bowling pins or sticks for the entertainment of little boys and girls. This is indeed one aspect of juggling; but juggling has transformed from a display used for entertainment, which is still a part of juggling today, to a complex series of notation and theorems.
