Published during the era when A. W. Harris was serving as president of the university, this short booklet detailed information on student expenses, noting that changes in college programs, as compared to a traditional curriculum in Latin, Greek, Philosophy and Mathematics, meant institutions were facing costs of creating laboratories and purchasing expensive scientific equipment for many programs.
