An image scanned from a black and white photograph of the Great Northern Paper Company vessel, the William Hilton. A handwritten caption on the back reads, The \u27William Hilton\u27 in Bangor on way to coast after having been sold. Sept., 1972. The William Hilton had previously been used to tow log booms on Chesuncook Lake. Buildings on the corner of Central and Hammond Streets, as viewed from Main Street in downtown Bangor, had signs reading, Grants, on the left, and Beal Business College on the right.https://digitalcommons.library.umaine.edu/spec_photos/3358/thumbnail.jp
