Dr. Meredith Hastings\u27 research draws on principles from varied disciplines, bringing a novel set of tools to the challenge of understanding the impacts of humans on the composition of the atmosphere, the biosphere, and climate. Her research is driven by questions such as: What are the connections and feedbacks between air quality, the physical climate system, and the health of the biosphere? And how have these connections and feedbacks changed over time? Watch Dr. Hastings, who was named one of the 100 Most Inspiring Women in STEM in 2015, as she highlights her research and her work founding the Earth Science Women\u27s Network.https://digitalcommons.library.umaine.edu/risingtide_videos/1004/thumbnail.jp
