In an effort to reduce costs for students, many universities are engaged in initiatives to promote the adoption and creation of Open Access (OA) resources, primarily textbooks. Faculty need assistance with selecting, funding, and creating OA textbooks and resources. Building upon existing services, libraries can educate faculty on key issues in the OA movement and offer guidance regarding content use and creation. This presentation will discuss how one library is providing innovative resources and services to exceed faculty OA creation and implementation needs and how this benefits students in more ways than expected. Attendees will learn what worked well and what did not and gather ideas to take back to their own institutions
