“Face of homelessness in Dallas” is a creative, research‐based project. Its findings are based on one‐on‐one interviews with homeless people and people working with them. I worked frequently with The Stewpot in Dallas, TX on this project. The Stewpot is an organization focused on issues of homelessness and has been in existence since 1975. I took portraits of homeless people and chose the stories that touched me the most for this publication. Some of their names have been changed upon request of my subjects. I also made a video for The Stewpot organization, which is expanding its operations to tackle the problem of homelessness more efficiently.
