Methods Minimum inhibitory concentrations (MICs) of ciprofloxacin, nalidixic acid (NAL) and azithromycin were determined in the presence and absence of Phe-Arg-β-naphthylamide. Susceptibility to other 14 antimicrobial agents was also established.
