Founded in 1856, the university has a rich history of collecting objects for the purposes of research, preservation and display. Despite this long tradition of collecting, many are unaware of the breadth of art, artifacts and manuscripts in the university’s collections, which are notable in their scope and expansiveness. “Treasures of Seton Hall” assembles a number of these collections in an exhibition format, exposing them to a broader public.https://scholarship.shu.edu/past-exhibits-2018/1003/thumbnail.jp
