Summarization: The static analysis problem of structures with interfaces, governed by nonmonotone superpotential interface laws is considered. The decomposition of the nonmonotone interface laws as the difference of monotone laws permits us to write a system of convex variational inequelities for the solution of the nonconvex elastostatic analysis problem under discussion.
