Unlike Terrestrial Wireless Sensor Network(TWSN), Underwater wireless sensor network(UWSN) have different characteristics such as narrow bandwidth, long propagation delay and high packet loss. Hence, routing protocols used for terrestrial sensor network are not applicable in underwater network.
