Neutral beam injection heating is the most technically advanced and experimentally proven form of auxiliary Tokamak heating. In TNS, due to its large size and density, the major problem is a lack of beam penetration. An attempt is made to determine the scope of the problem and outline possible strategies for dealing with it.
