Freak the Mighty: A Quest Through Friendship

During this 22 day unit, students will make connections with the fictional characters in this novel that will help deepen their own understanding of friendship. Students will practice using context, word parts and the dictionary (printed or electronic) to determine the meaning of unknown words. Students will practice determining important plot events and summarizing the plot of works of fiction.
