I relate the existence of eigenfunctions of decaying perturbations of the free Laplacian to the semi-classical behavior of the spectrum of quasi-periodic Schrödinger operators. In particular, I construct embedded eigenvalues in the spectrum of the discrete Laplacian perturbed by a potential of generalized bounded variation
