summary:In the submitted paper the algorithm for the analysis of the general electric circuit with lumped parameters in transient state is given. The algorithm for the loop currents method is formulated by means of matrix calculus. The obtained results show the possibility of describing the transient state by matrix equations. For their integration Runge-Kutte's numerical method in Merson's modification is used. On the basis of this algorithm a program for the complete analysis of the circuit by means of an automatic digital computer has been designed; this program is recorded in the programming language ALGOL 60. By means of the given program various electric curcuits on the computer National Elliott 803 have been solved
