Over the years at postsecondary institutions nationwide, there have been numerous incidents of educational impropriety and malpractice involving fraud, deception, or a lack of proper communication to students. A majority of these problems are associated with the operations and practices of the postsecondary institutions themselves, particularly within the proprietary sector of higher education.
