Laotian War POW Exchange

Vientiane, Laos: A disabled North Vietnamese POW is carried by a fellow Communist prisoner to a waiting plane early 9/19 for a flight to Phonsavan in northern Laos where the first prisoner-of-war exchange since the end of the Laotian war was completed later 9/19. The Vientiane side handed over 173 North Vietnamese soldiers to the Pathet Lao.
