The purpose of this pamphlet is to bring together into a single volume, pertinent crop and livestock statistics which will be useful in determining wartime and post-war adjustments- In South Dakota agriculture. This data should be particularly useful in developing recommendations for adjustments on the county and type-of farming area levels. Information on land use; crop acres, yield and production; size of farm and livestock numbers and production are given for counties, production areas and for the state as a v/hole for the period 1924-43. Statistical data, particularly on livestock, was not complete enough prior to 1924 to allow for a longer period of years.
