Domestic violence and substance abuse have come to the forefront of the public\u27s awareness in the last decade. This document focuses on the simultaneous occurrence of these phenomena and proposes that providers reconcile any possible differences in treatment and collaborate, if not integrate services. Providers must move beyond their respective theoretical approaches and form a new transtheoretical delivery approach to treatment in order to provide the best possible outcomes for clients.
