Agroecosystem, or agricultural ecosystems, is the important anthropogenic ecosystem to meet the human demand for food, fiber, and feed, and it covers approximately 40-50% of the earth’s land surface. Accurate estimates of agricultural land use and land cover and Gross Primary Production (GPP) are indispensable for global food security and understanding variations in the terrestrial carbon budgets.
