Scope of Study: Few, if any, high school biology textbooks have the life cycles of plants drawn or explained whereby a biology student may read and understand how the reproduction of plants take place. The habitats and characteristics of only a few may be discussed. It is the purpose of this report to make available to the high school student information that will enable him to understand the reproductive cycles, the habitats and characteristics of many of the plants normally encountered by the high school biology student, The habitats and characteristics have been listed and the life cycles have been drawn and discussed.
