This thesis is an in depth analysis of Tom Stoppard's play, Travesties. The methodology of Francis Hodge, with additional analytical elements contributed by Dr. Judith Pender, is utilized to catalogue information and develop a through-line of action in the play. Included within is a biographical section on Stoppard, a review of several analytical chapters and essays on the play in question, the analysis, and my conclusions
