The purpose of this report is to set forth a plan for the physical growth and development of the Township of River Vale; that is, a plan which includes such matters as the location of future residential areas, streets, parks, schools and other physical features over which the community has control. To assure the most appropriate and feasible plan, all relevant information about the community and its environs was gathered and analyzed. Much of that information is presented herein. Traffic data, tax information, analysis of flooding possibilities, and mapping of all existing uses of land comprise some of the information that had to be gathered before realistic plans could be drawn.
