This study was undertaken to determine whether the time might not have come when construction on the Meadows can be considered economically feasible. If such is the case the Borough of East Rutherford can set in motion the systematic development of its portion of the Meadowlands by initiating certain steps which would encourage such development. Though the report is confined to that portion of the Meadowlands lying within the Borough of East Rutherford, many of the findings and recommendations are applicable to those portions of the Meadowlands lying in neighboring municipal jurisdictions.
