Arctic climate change, with longer periods of ice-free ocean, both creates opportunities for a marine-based economy and poses risks that can undermine the social community that such economic expansion supports. This films presents voices of Arctic Alaska communities on the dilemmas of development as they negotiate paths of sustainability in the face of climate and socio-economic challenges.
