1989 status report on the hazardous waste management program in New Jersey; Site specific information

The October 1989 "Program Status Report" provides a detailed description of New Jersey's Comprehensive Hazardous Waste Management Program. It focuses on the strategis, tools and operations of the Department of environmental Protection which are used to address the remediation of past mismanagement of hazardous waste; control present activities, prevent future hazardous waste problems and describes the Departments initiatives for greater public and local agency involvement in the process. The October 1989 edition of the "Site Status Reports on Hazardous Waste Remediation" presents a detailed briefing of sites undergoing remediation through the various program areas. This book contains descriptions of all Superfund Sites (both privately and publicly funded) in New Jersey; and selected (major cases) of the Hazardous Waste Management Responsible Party Cleanup Program, the Environmental Cleanup Responsibility Act (ECRA); and the Division of Water Resources.
