This report is a collection of seven technical memorandums describing the surface water quality of the New Jersey Pinelands. The water quality of the Pinelands was assessed by reviewing existing monitoring data, the needs of water consumers and the relationship between pollution sources and water quality. General pollution control measures were reviewed and management techniques were recommended. Six technical memorandum were produced which detail the methods, findings and recommendations of this study. In addition to providing a general description of the six technical memorandums, this summary interprets the study findings and presents the consultants' overall view of the critical issues in protecting Pine lands water quality.
