'Tunisian Revolution: a Facebook Revolution?' examines the role the HTTPS-technology played in the spread of information that would have been censored through other forms of social media (ie. YouTube) in Tunisia. A clear distinction is made between the efficiency of social media as an impetus and mode of communication, while stressing the role of protest, physical presence and the risk of those on the front line who achieved the end result the Tunisian movement.
