Bathymetry, Sidescan Sonar Image, and Sufricial Geological Interpretation of the Inner Shelf off Little Egg Inlet, New Jersey (2 Maps)

A long-term monitoring program has been undertaken to study the inner continental shelf off Little Egg Inlet, New Jersey in an effort to understand the dynamics of this coastal environment. The U.S. Geological Survey, in cooperation with Rutgers University, has completed a bathymetric sidescan sonar, and high-resolution seismic-reflection survey of the study area as a preliminary phase of this program.
