The Nutrient Criteria Strategy for the Tidal and Non-Tidal Delaware River of the Delaware River Basin Commission examines nutrient criteria in great detail in order to establish new numeric criteria for water quality standards. The report examines local data of the nutrient levels in 5 aggregate ecoregions of the Delaware River, compared to the EPA's national standards, in order to establish local criteria and provide a benchmark for maintenance of existing water quality.Purpose: To identify the specific steps that the Delaware River Basin Commission will use to establish water quality criteria for the control of nutrient enrichment for the tidal and non-tidal portions of the system
