This project entails the development of a one-dimensional contaminant transport model for homogeneous, isotropic, and unsaturated soils. The model is to be used by the New Jersey Department of Environmental Protection (NJDEP) to develop regulatory clean-up levels for contaminants in the unsaturated zone based on an acceptable impact to groundwater.
