This report provides the second part of results from the second year of a research study on soil vapor intrusion into buildings in New Jersey. Groundwater, soil vapor, and indoor air concentrations were sampled at two sites - Wall Township and Sea Girt Borough - contaminated by tetrachloroethylene (PCE). Elevated indoor PCE concentrations in houses above the highest groundwater concentration areas provide evidence of soil vapor intrusion. Moreover, indoor air PCE concentrations were significantly above typical background levels.Submitted to New Jersey Department of Environmental Protection (NJDEP), Division of Science, Research and Technology, P.O.
